Terms of Service

By accessing the TrueAutoFax website, submitting a VIN, or purchasing a vehicle history report, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the service.

TrueAutoFax is an independently owned and operated vehicle history information service.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract under the laws of your jurisdiction to use this service.

TrueAutoFax provides digital vehicle history information products generated from VIN submissions and data obtained from third-party, public, and private sources. The service is an information tool intended to assist your due diligence; it is not a guarantee of vehicle condition, value, or history.

Vehicle history information is compiled from third-party data sources and may be delayed, incomplete, missing, or contain errors. TrueAutoFax does not guarantee that any specific accident, title brand, lien, damage event, ownership transfer, odometer reading, service record, theft event, recall-related item, inspection record, or other vehicle event will appear in any report. Reports may be unavailable for certain VINs or jurisdictions.

You agree to use independent judgment, including a professional inspection and test drive, before purchasing or relying on a vehicle.

Reports and other information provided by TrueAutoFax are not legal, financial, insurance, mechanical, dealership, valuation, or investment advice and are not a substitute for a professional vehicle inspection.

Reports and other content are licensed to you for personal, internal, lawful use only, unless you have separate written authorization from TrueAutoFax.

You agree not to:

• Scrape, harvest, or programmatically extract content from the site or reports.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code or methodologies.
• Use any automated tool, bot, or script to access the service.
• Resell, sublicense, redistribute, or republish reports or site content.
• Use reports, VIN data, or vehicle information to harass, stalk, or unlawfully identify or contact any person.
• Use motor vehicle records or related data in violation of the Driver's Privacy Protection Act (DPPA) or any similar federal, state, or local law.
• Submit fraudulent, stolen, or unauthorized payment information.
• Initiate chargeback abuse or knowingly false billing disputes.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to circumvent the security or integrity of the site or related infrastructure.

All branding, layout, design, copy, code, report presentation, logos, and other site materials are owned by or licensed to TrueAutoFax. You receive only a limited, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to view and use delivered content for personal lawful use. All other rights are reserved.

Pricing for each report is shown before purchase. By submitting an order, you authorize the charge to your selected payment method, including any applicable taxes or fees. TrueAutoFax may refuse, cancel, or refund any order at its discretion in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, pricing errors, technical failure, or legal risk.

Reports are digital products delivered electronically and/or made available through your order-access link after successful payment and processing. Delivery timing may vary due to system load, third-party data provider response times, network conditions, or other technical factors. TrueAutoFax does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the service.

All sales are final once a report has been delivered, displayed, made accessible, or sent. The sole exception is verified complete non-delivery attributable to a TrueAutoFax technical failure. Full details, evidence requirements, and excluded situations are described in our Refund Policy.

The service and all reports are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE". To the fullest extent permitted by law, TrueAutoFax and TrueAutoFax disclaim all express and implied warranties, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and uninterrupted service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of TrueAutoFax and TrueAutoFax for any claim arising out of or relating to the service or any report shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim. Under no circumstances shall TrueAutoFax or TrueAutoFax be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost opportunities, lost data, or reputational harm, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TrueAutoFax, TrueAutoFax, and their respective officers, owners, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your misuse of the service, violation of these Terms, violation of any law or third-party right, or submission of inaccurate or unauthorized data or payment information.

If you believe your card was charged in error or your report was not delivered, please contact cnscalingservices@gmail.com before initiating a chargeback so we can review your account. Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may constitute a breach of these Terms. TrueAutoFax may submit transaction records, order confirmations, access logs, and report-delivery evidence in response to disputes.

TrueAutoFax may suspend access, refuse service, cancel suspicious transactions, or restrict abusive users at any time, with or without notice.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that any dispute, claim, or proceeding arising from or relating to these Terms or the service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts.

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force. Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of any right. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and TrueAutoFax regarding the service.

TrueAutoFax may modify these Terms at any time. Updates take effect when posted unless a different effective date is stated. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
